Loïs Lelanchon has joined WAZA as Head of Partnerships and Advocacy in June 2024. Loïs is a lawyer specialised in environmental law and animal law and has previously held policy and programmatic positions with international NGOs in the field of animal welfare and wildlife conservation. He has an extensive background as a legal professional with Master’s degrees in International and Comparative Environmental Law, and Animal Law and Society. His experience with the International Fund for Animal Welfare, Humane Society International and the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe underscores his capacity to drive impactful change at WAZA.
