Taronga’s Amphibian and Reptile Centre (ARC) has been opened since July 2024. Exploring some of the conservation initiatives and breeding programs for endangered species. The Keepers will guide you through some of the centre’s specialised facilities, showcasing innovative approaches to habitat management and species recovery. Platypus and Bellinger Facility

program. The Platypus facility has been recently constructed to manage Platypus that require care and rehabilitation prior to re-release. The Bellingen River Turtle breeding facility houses the critically endangered Bellingen River turtle in a purpose made facility.
