Professional Bio
Jonathan joined AArk in late 2023 as its new Executive Director. Before this, Jonathan worked for more than 20 years within the ex-situ community, including as Director of Auckland Zoo. As part of the SCC’s Conservation Planning Specialist Group, Jonathan helped develop the One Plan philosophy, aimed at integrating the management of ex situ and in situ wildlife populations for conservation.
