The Wildlife Retreat is exclusively open to WAZA delegates from Sunday, November 3rd to Thursday, November 7th.
- The WAZA Promo Code is valid from Monday, October 27th to Sunday, November 10th.
- Rates start from AUD$285 for single occupancy, including breakfast, throughout the WAZA Conference.
- Rates may vary slightly for the weekend before the WAZA Conference, but still offer excellent value.
- Additional adults can join for AUD$65 and children for AUD$35.

Terms and Conditions
- Guests are required at all times to behave in a manner consistent with Taronga's Animal Welfare Charter.
- Children must be supervised at all times within the Wildlife Retreat
- The Wildlife Retreat is a non-smoking property. Smoking is only permitted outside of the site boundary.
- Balloons and confetti are not allowed on the premises as they pose a significant risk to wildlife on site.
- A valid, physical credit card is required to check in to the Wildlife Retreat. A $100 pre-authorisation is taken upon arrival to pay for incidental expenses. The Wildlife Retreat is a cashless facility and accepts card payments only.
- Up to 7 days prior to arrival bookings can be cancelled with no cancellation fee. A full refund will be provided. Within 7 days of arrival cancellations will incur a 100% amendment/cancellation fee

Circular Quay
- With regular ferries departing from Circular Quay to Taronga Zoo, choosing accommodation within this area is recommended.
Taronga Zoo Sydney is 12 minutes from Circular Quay by ferry. Sydney Ferries services depart Circular Quay every 30 minutes - Captain Cook Cruises operate the Zoo Express and all day hop on, hop off services departing daily from Darling Harbour and Circular Quay
- NRMA’s Fantasea Cruising operate a Zoo Direct and all-day hop-on and hop-off Harbour Hopper from Darling Harbour (Aquarium Wharf) and Circular Quay Wharf 6
- Guests to Taronga Zoo Sydney can enter the Zoo through the iconic heritage gates at the Main Entrance at the top of the zoo, or the Lower Zoo Entrance which is a 3-minute walk from the Taronga Zoo ferry wharf. Buses also connect the ferry wharf and Lower Zoo Entrance with the top entrance.
